Hope you're doing very well. As there are less than 100 days left for Cricket World Cup so here is the first Cricket ODI World Cup Quiz for you. I'll publish next set of this Quiz (Part 2) in my next post. So enjoy and let me know your feedback. And please provide your name while you answer the questions. 2. In 1987 World Cup match in Madras Dean Jones lofted Maninder Singh over mid-off , the umpire, who was unsure if the ball had crossed the boundary, took Ravi Shastri's word and signaled 4. However, Jones walked up to umpire Dickie Bird and suggested that it was a 6. Dickie then said that the issue would be discussed after Australia's innings. During the innings break, Australian team manager Alan Crompton spoke to the umpires, who then approached India's captain, Kapil Dev. A generous Kapil agreed to change that 4 to 6, which meant India's new target moved to 271. Who won the match and by what margin?
3. This country's World Cup winning captain returned to international cricket a year after announcing his retirement the previous year. It was at the request of the country's President, that player represented the country again. Eventually, his inspirational captaincy gave their first World Cup. Identify the player.
4. What is the significance of this picture as Gilly is showing something to his batting coach.
5. What is the record this player still holding in world cup so far.
